  • Roma Riaz – Representing Pakistan’s Culture at Miss Universe 2025Roma Riaz – Representing Pakistan’s Culture at Miss Universe 2025
Pakistani representative Roma Riaz is proudly showcasing her country’s culture at the Miss Universe 2025 competition in Thailand. Recently, she faced online criticism for wearing a traditional sari, but she responded gracefully, saying that the sari is a shared cultural heritage of South Asia — not limited to any one country. Roma Riaz will represent Pakistan at the Miss Universe global stage on November 21 in Thailand. During a recent pre-event ceremony, she wore a stunning golden sari designed by Kanwal Malik, which quickly went viral on social media. While many admired her elegant look, some questioned her choice of wearing a sari instead of a more “Pakistani” outfit. In response, Roma shared a powerful message on Instagram. She explained that the sari belongs to no single nation — it is part of the shared South Asian heritage that existed long before modern borders. “The land where my ancestors lived is the same where the sari was born,” she wrote. “This outfit is just as Pakistani as shalwar kameez.” Roma further highlighted that the sari has always been a part of Pakistani women’s wardrobe — seen at family weddings, cultural events, and even in classic Pakistani cinema. She said, “I don’t believe in restricting cultural heritage to borders. Fashion and culture flow freely across South Asia.” In her Instagram post, Roma also shared old newspaper clippings from 1969, showing Pakistani women wearing saris proudly. She emphasized that the sari still represents grace, femininity, and dignity for women across the region. When Roma appeared on the red carpet in her dazzling golden sari, she made a bold statement — the sari is a timeless dress that connects tradition and elegance. It existed long before borders and continues to symbolize identity and pride for South Asian women today. In Pakistan, the sari has always been a symbol of sophistication and culture. From poets and artists to iconic film stars of the past, many have embraced it with pride. Roma Riaz is continuing that tradition on the global stage, showing the world that Pakistani women are confident, graceful, and proud of their roots. [...] Read more

In a major anti-smuggling operation, the Customs Enforcement team, acting on credible information conveyed by the Deputy Collector Customs, D.I. Khan-II, under the directions of the Collector Customs (Enforcement), Peshawar, successfully intercepted a large quantity of foreign-origin narcotics from a passenger bus during a routine vigilance check at IP-JCP Aman Mela. Upon thorough inspection of the suspected Daewoo bus bearing Registration No. CAT-4488, Customs officials recovered foreign-origin narcotics ICE (Crystal Methamphetamine) concealed inside three specially designed inverters placed in the bus. The driver and conductor were arrested on the spot, and an FIR was lodged against them. The recovered narcotics comprised 15 packets of foreign-origin substance resembling ICE (Crystal Methamphetamine), weighing a total of 15,350 grams (net 15,200 grams after sampling). The estimated value of the narcotics is Rs. 910.200 million, while the value of the seized Daewoo bus is Rs. 15.000 million, bringing the total estimated value of the case to Rs. 925.200 million. As the recovered narcotics were being transported from IP-JCP Aman Mela to the State Warehouse, the Customs staff came under attack by unidentified miscreants/terrorists, who opened straight and indiscriminate fire on the customs convoy. The attack appeared to be aimed at harming the customs personnel due to high market value of the seized narcotics. However, the swift and courageous response of the customs team ensured the safety of both personnel and the seized goods. Meanwhile, Pakistan Army troops and police personnel acted swiftly and reached the site of the incident promptly, providing immediate support and security. They safely escorted the Customs staff and the recovered narcotics consignment to the State Warehouse, D.I. Khan, without any loss of life or property. This successful operation demonstrates the continued commitment of FBR against smuggling and narcotics trafficking. • Decades of Allegations, Zero Witnesses: The Untold Truth About Nawaz Sharif vs Imran KhanDecades of Allegations, Zero Witnesses: The Untold Truth About Nawaz Sharif vs Imran Khan
From Omar Ayub, Sheikh Rasheed, Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Hamid Nasir Chattha, Pervaiz Elahi, Chaudhry Nisar, Shahid Khaqan, Liaquat Jatoi, Ghaus Ali Shah, Sheikh Waqas Akram, Manzoor Wattoo, Javed Hashmi, Zubair Umar, Zafarullah Jamali — and more than 30 other big names — all left Nawaz Sharif and the PML-N at different times. But ask yourself this: has any one of them ever accused Nawaz Sharif of being corrupt, dishonest, or immoral? Has anyone ever claimed Nawaz Sharif asked for money in exchange for a party ticket, or demanded a cut or commission for signing a file? Has anyone said Nawaz Sharif, Kulsoom Nawaz, Hassan, or Hussain ever took cars, jewelry, or plots as bribes? Not one person who once stood with Nawaz Sharif has ever said he took money from them, lived off them, or used their cars. Even those who left him have never accused him of personal corruption. Now compare that to Imran Khan. Whoever left him — Jahangir Tareen, Aleem Khan, Mohsin Baig, his ex-wife, Fayyaz-ul-Hassan Chohan, Pervez Khattak, Zubaida Jalal, and many others — all exposed his wrongdoings. From kitchen expenses to luxury cars, from party tickets to official posts, even in the name of Shaukat Khanum and party funds — every insider accused Imran Khan of taking money. That’s the difference. The whole world has witnessed it. Since 1993, Nawaz Sharif has faced countless cases and investigations. Even during Musharraf’s regime, every record was examined — yet out of 250 million people, not a single person ever came forward in court to testify that Nawaz Sharif was involved in theft, land grabbing, corruption, or taking commissions. But look at Imran Khan: In just one case, there are 13 witnesses; In the £190 million case, 33 witnesses — 7 of them were his own cabinet ministers; In Toshakhana Case 1, 17 witnesses; In Toshakhana Case 2, 28 witnesses. And let’s not forget Reham Khan’s book — which Imran Khan never challenged in any court for being false. That’s the reality. The world h as seen the difference. [...] Read more

Daily Mirror News A powerful explosion took place near the court in Islamabad’s G-11 sector on Tuesday afternoon at around 12:30 p.m. The sound of the blast was heard from far away. According to police, a suicide bomber riding a motorcycle approached a police vehicle and blew himself up. The explosion caused nearby cars to catch fire, and parts of the bomber’s body were found inside the court premises. Police said three vehicles were damaged — one police car and two private cars. They confirmed that the blast was a suicide attack and found the suspected bomber’s head at the scene. At least 12 people were killed and more than 20 others injured, including some lawyers and visitors. The injured were taken to PIMS Hospital, where an emergency has been declared. Law enforcement agencies have sealed off the area. Police sources said that initial investigations suggest the attack was carried out by “Fitna al-Khawarij,” a group reportedly linked to Indian-sponsored and Afghan Taliban-backed networks. Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi’s Statement Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi told the media that the suicide blast occurred at 12:39 p.m., killing 12 people and injuring 27. He said the bomber tried to enter the court but could not, and stayed near the area for about 10 to 15 minutes before detonating himself when a police vehicle arrived. The minister said the first priority is to identify the attacker and expose those involved in planning the attack. He also mentioned that a similar suicide attack took place in Wana yesterday, where a car bomber exploded at a checkpoint. According to him, Afghanistan was involved in that attack as well, and security forces are continuing clearance operations there. At least 9 deaths and 21 injuries have been confirmed in an explosion outside the district courts in Pakistan’s capital city of Islamabad. • Delhi Blast Raises Serious Questions About SecurityDelhi Blast Raises Serious Questions About Security
Reports say that around 300 to 350 kilograms of explosive material have been found so far in connection with the Delhi blast. Two people have reportedly been arrested — one of them a doctor from the Delhi–Faridabad area, identified by some as Tariq and by others as Salman. However, an official confirmation is still awaited. The main question is: How was such a blast even possible in the heart of Delhi? Delhi and Faridabad are densely populated cities under tight surveillance. A powerful explosion in such an area raises serious questions about the efficiency of the police and intelligence agencies. It is also being reported that the explosives were brought from Jammu and Kashmir, which makes it even more concerning — how did such a large quantity of materials cross several states and reach Delhi-Faridabad without being detected? Once again, the Modi government appears to be shifting blame toward Pakistan, as it has done in the past to hide its failures. But this approach will not solve the real problems. The government should focus on finding real solutions and addressing internal security lapses instead of making political statements. If the authorities are truly working efficiently, they should present the full facts before the public so that citizens can understand what really happened. Simply blaming others or pretending that nothing went wrong will not make India safer. It’s time to act responsibly, not just watch from the sidelines. Congress MLA H.D. Raghunath Questions Modi Government Over Delhi Car Blast Probe Congress MLA H.D. Raghunath has raised serious questions about the Modi government’s handling of the Delhi car explosion investigation. Raghunath said that the Union Home Minister’s visit to the blast site, which was initially thought to be a CNG cylinder explosion, was unexpected and unusual. He also claimed that the investigation into the ammonium nitrate residues was carried out improperly, as the entire area had not been sealed off for forensic work. Raghunath further questioned why, despite Delhi’s extensive CCTV surveillance, information about the car involved in the blast was not released for several hours. He urged the Modi government to reveal the true facts of the investigation and ensure complete transparency in the matter. [...] Read more
  • Who will be responsible for the Delhi bomb explosion, and will the Modi government be to blame?Who will be responsible for the Delhi bomb explosion, and will the Modi government be to blame?
Delhi bomb explosion: Friends, let this sink in once: a war will be imposed on Pakistan. The Afghan government now includes terrorist groups supported by the U.S., Israel, and India. India itself is part of an anti-China alliance. Pakistan in no circumstance would want to fight this war, but it had only two options. Either you are with us or with China. And this is something the Pakistani establishment learned well after the fall of the Soviet Union — that American promises of friendship are outright lies. Over the last thirty-five years the U.S. has itself pushed us away. China meets all our defense needs. The short May war made clear that military coordination between Pakistan and China is very deep. So even if Pakistan wanted to hide it, it is clear that we cannot return to the Western camp. On the other hand, by signing a ten-year defense agreement with Afghanistan and the United States, India has made it clear that it too is fully part of the Western camp. Now there is no possibility of return. The battlefield is ready. I have told you repeatedly that after the 2008 recession it became clear that the U.S. and European economies are completely bankrupt. At that time the West had no choice but to wage war and create new rules and regulations. They will wage war, otherwise the Western imperialist empire will be finished. So be prepared for war. All efforts to strengthen the state should be made, however unorthodox or undemocratic they may be, and you should support them. Pakistan urgently needs internal stability and unity. Pakistan is in a state of war. The Delhi bomb explosion will also turn out to be a false flag, but the blame will be put on Pakistan. Pakistan would in no way want to carry out this act. This could be the work of Israeli or American agencies, or perhaps an operation by RAW itself. The terrorist groups that India blames Pakistan for supporting are the very ones we are fighting today, and India is negotiating with them. Stay united and never forget that defeat means conditions like Iraq, Syria, and Libya. Millions killed, tens of millions displaced, thousands of tent cities. Then what democracy and what human rights? Then there will be you and only revolutions after revolutions, changes will occur and there will be groups of terrorists and generals like those in Libya, Sudan, Somalia. Unite and defend your country like Cuba did. Like Vietnam did. Like Russia stands up against the whole European imperialism. Russia’s population is half of Pakistan’s; if they are united and fighting, you can fight too. You can win. [...] Read more
  • Ozzy Osbourne Was Working on a New Album Before His DeathOzzy Osbourne Was Working on a New Album Before His Death
Rock legend Ozzy Osbourne was reportedly planning to record a new album shortly before his passing on July 22, 2025, after a long battle with Parkinson’s disease. The Black Sabbath frontman died over the summer, just weeks after reuniting the iconic band for a massive hometown show in Birmingham, UK. Fans around the world celebrated the reunion, unaware that it would be Ozzy’s final live performance. It’s now been revealed that Ozzy had big plans for what was next. He wanted to head back into the studio for one more album and had already reached out to his longtime guitarist Zakk Wylde to join him. Zakk told NJ.com: “He was texting me, saying, ‘Zakk, let’s do another record. I really loved it when you were going through your Allman Brothers, Skynyrd phase when we did No More Tears. It’s heavy but melodic — not crushingly heavy.’” Zakk replied simply: “Alright, Oz — whatever you want.” Unfortunately, the album never came to life. Still, Ozzy managed to complete two major projects before his death — his autobiography, Last Rites, and a BBC documentary about his life and career. Wylde added: “We did the show, he finished his book, they wrapped up the documentary, and then he said, ‘Alright, I’m out of here.’ He finished everything he needed to do — and then he was gone.” Ozzy’s final months were a fitting end to a legendary career — full of music, reflection, and a rock ‘n’ roll spirit that never faded. • The Real Story on Desi Eggs vs. Farm EggsThe Real Story on Desi Eggs vs. Farm Eggs
You know, whenever I post about eggs, a bunch of experts suddenly show up to comment. They always say that farm eggs have no benefits at all. Why? Because our wise “Hakeem Uncles” always recommend *desi* eggs for treatments. And not just the eggs—they have to be cooked in *desi* ghee, with a *desi* chicken and *desi* dates on the side! It seems like you can get people to eat anything just by putting the word “desi” in front of it. It’s really just a marketing trick these days. You see it everywhere: Pure Desi Ghee Pure Desi  Rice Garlic, Onions, Ginger, Cucumbers… Even broken items are in high demand if they’re “desi”! Anyway, let’s get to the point. A true *desi* egg comes from a local hen that is allowed to roam free. This hen eats whatever it wants—bugs, insects, worms, plants, seeds, and grains—and then it lays an egg. A pure desi hen will only lay about 15-20 eggs before it gets broody (ready to sit on its eggs), and those are the eggs you can put under her to hatch chicks. On the other hand, when these same hens are kept confined on a farm and fed a specific high-protein diet to produce eggs, those are farm eggs. There are also specific poultry breeds that have been developed over decades to lay more than 300 eggs a year to meet demand. Even some colorful local breeds have been developed to lay up to six eggs a week. Here’s the important part: Both types of eggs are a high-quality, affordable, and excellent source of protein. One egg gives you about 6-7 grams of protein and 70-80 calories, depending on its size. The real difference is in the nutrients in the yolk. *Desi* egg yolks are often a darker yellow color. They tend to have slightly more Vitamin A, Vitamin E, and Omega-3s compared to farm eggs. The yolks of farm eggs are usually a lighter yellow, but if the hens are fed certain colored feed, this color difference can disappear. The bottom line: Both eggs are great for your health. The difference in vitamins and Omega-3s is very small. Just remember to always cook your eggs and eat them fresh. Avoid eating raw eggs, and try not to drown them in lots of oil or ghee. So, if you can raise your own chickens at home, that’s wonderful! If not, it’s perfectly fine to eat farm eggs. An egg is an egg! So, whether it’s Sunday or Monday, have an egg every day [...] Read more
  • Trump’s Bold Move: Tariff Revenues to Fund $2,000 for Each AmericanTrump’s Bold Move: Tariff Revenues to Fund $2,000 for Each American
Washington: U.S. President Donald Trump has announced that most Americans will receive at least $2,000 as a dividend from the country’s revenue generated through tariffs. In a post on his social media platform, Truth Social, on Sunday, President Trump said that the dividend payments would go to American citizens, while clarifying that high-income earners will be excluded from this benefit. Trump wrote in his post, “We are earning trillions of dollars, and very soon, we will begin paying off our massive $37 trillion debt. Every person (except those with higher incomes) will receive at least $2,000.” According to international media reports, the U.S. Supreme Court is currently reviewing the legality of the trade tariffs imposed by Trump, after lower courts previously declared several of them unlawful. It is worth mentioning that in October, Trump had suggested during an interview that the government could distribute $1,000 to $2,000 among citizens, claiming that the tariffs he introduced could generate over one trillion dollars annually for the United States. • 27th Amendment — The New Map of Power27th Amendment — The New Map of Power
A new and weighty phrase is about to enter Pakistan’s Constitution: The 27th Amendment. Just a few lines on paper — yet behind them flows the entire current of the nation’s power. They say this amendment is not merely about words; it’s the drawing of a new map of power — one where the boundaries between the military, the government, and the judiciary begin to blur. Abolition of the Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee On 27 November 2025, an old door will close. The Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee — a post once symbolizing coordination among the three armed forces — will cease to exist. In its place comes a new structure, where the Army Chief rwill now be called the Chief of Defence Forces (CDF) — and the reins of power will rest in one pair of hands.   Creation of the National Strategic Command The Prime Minister, on the recommendation of the Army Chief, will appoint a new commander — the Commander of the National Strategic Command. This body will oversee the nation’s nuclear assets and the most sensitive decisions of national security. But one question lingers: Who will truly decide? The Prime Minister — or the Army Chief? Or will they exchange silent glances to make those unwritten decisions that never appear in the Constitution? Lifetime Rank, Uniform, and Privileges The amendment states that if any officer is elevated to the rank of Field Marshal, Marshal of the Air Force, or Admiral of the Fleet, they will retain their rank, uniform, and privileges for life. In other words, there will be no retirement — only a new chapter in history. Power doesn’t fade away; it merely changes its uniform. Immunity from Removal and Legal Protection These “national heroes” will not be easy to remove. They can only be dismissed through the process laid out in Article 47 — the same method used for the President’s impeachment or resignation. Furthermore, under Article 248, they will enjoy the same legal immunity as the President — meaning the law’s reach may stop before it ever touches them. Duties Beyond Command Even after stepping down from command, the government may assign them new roles “in the national interest.” The uniform may come off, but the influence will remain. The shadow of power grows longer, and beneath the Constitution, a new shadow is emerging. A Question for the Nation One wonders — will this amendment strengthen the nation, or make power beyond question? Is this constitutional reform, or constitutional centralization? Is this a reorganization of the military, or the redefinition of democracy itself? [...] Read more
