Turkish President Erdogan’s Speech Cut at the UN

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan was giving a speech at the recent United Nations session when his words were cut off. This happened when he said: “Israel must withdraw its army from Gaza.”

This is not the first time such actions have been taken by the UN. Whenever the issue of Gaza is raised, the UN makes one-sided decisions, and these decisions are always against Muslims.

For more than seventy years, Gaza has been under blockade, yet the UN has failed to provide a real solution. Instead of solving problems, the UN ignores them. If someone is oppressed, the UN does nothing. It acts like a silent spectator.

If such issues were taken seriously, solutions could have been found for many nations. But the UN has only made things more difficult, and these problems have never been solved.

If today Israel’s Prime Minister Netanyahu were speaking at the UN, his speech would not be cut. He would be allowed to speak freely without interruption. But when leaders speak against Israel, they are silenced.

The same goes for former U.S. President Donald Trump—if he were speaking, the UN would never dare cut his speech.

The UN was created to solve global problems, not to turn away and pretend nothing is happening. If it cannot do its job fairly, then it is only wasting its own time and the time of the world.
