Conspiracies Against Afghanistan and the Role of Certain Circles Inside Pakistan
Afghanistan is currently passing through a phase where, after many years of war, interference, and external pressure, the country has finally achieved a degree of peace and stability. The Afghan people have sacrificed for decades — countless lives have been lost, and many families have been displaced — but today, they are witnessing their dream of peace, independence, and prosperity becoming a reality. Unfortunately, there are certain elements in the region who are not pleased with these peaceful and stable conditions in Afghanistan. They cannot tolerate the progress, self-reliance, and independence of the Afghan people because their interests are only served when Afghanistan remains unstable, divided, and in turmoil.
It is no longer a secret that, among Afghanistan’s neighboring countries, certain powerful and influential circles inside Pakistan are constantly conspiring against Afghanistan. Their goal is to undermine Afghanistan’s peace, dishearten its people, and push the country back into crisis. Based on our evidence and observations, this group is a small, self-centered, and power-hungry faction within Pakistan’s military establishment that has interfered in Afghanistan’s internal affairs for many years.
It is important to note that the majority of Pakistan’s army, political leaders, religious scholars, political parties, and especially the general public do not agree with the anti-Afghanistan policies of this limited group. In fact, most sensible and patriotic people in Pakistan now realize that hostility toward Afghanistan only harms Pakistan’s own interests. They understand that a peaceful and prosperous Afghanistan guarantees stability, trade, and regional cooperation — benefits that would also help Pakistan.
Unfortunately, this small but powerful faction has in the past damaged Pakistan’s global image through its selfish and short-sighted policies. For the sake of its own political ambitions, it has not only destabilized Afghanistan but also caused unrest within Pakistan itself. Today, ordinary Pakistanis are increasingly frustrated with the group’s interference, misuse of power, and disregard for public will. At various times, the Pakistani people have clearly distanced themselves from this clique’s policies.
Now is the time for the Pakistani people, political forces, and civil institutions to stand up to this self-willed faction and make it clear that Afghanistan is a free, independent, and equal neighbor. Interference in Afghanistan’s sovereignty is not only a violation of international law but also contrary to the principles of Islamic brotherhood and good neighborly relations.
The Afghan people, after decades of struggle and sacrifice, will no longer bow to any external pressure or conspiracy. They will defend their peace, independence, and prosperity at all costs. It is in the best interest of all countries in the region to build relations with Afghanistan based on mutual respect, cooperation, and peace — because a peaceful Afghanistan is the key to stability, progress, and prosperity throughout the entire region.
