Brotherly nations, which the Taliban government has been continuously requesting, at their request, Pakistan has accepted the offer to negotiate for establishing peace.
However, the venomous statements of some Afghan officials indicate that chaos and deception are gradually present within the Taliban government.
Pakistan clarifies that it has no need whatsoever to use its full strength to dismantle the Taliban regime or force them to hide in caves. However, if the Taliban regime so desires, revisiting the scenes of their past defeat in Tora Bora, where they fled with their tails between their legs, would undoubtedly be a new and fascinating spectacle for the nations of the world.
It is regrettable that the Taliban regime is pushing Afghanistan into another conflict merely to maintain its occupying rule and preserve the war economy. Despite being fully aware of their weaknesses and the hollow reality of their war claims, they are beating the drums of war in a failed attempt to salvage their deteriorating reputation among the Afghan people.
If the Afghan Taliban are still determined to destroy Afghanistan and its innocent people once again, then whatever is destined to happen will happen.
As far as the narrative of the “graveyard of empires” is concerned, Pakistan does not consider itself an empire by any means, but Afghanistan, due to the Taliban, is nothing less than a graveyard for its own people. It has never been a graveyard of empires, but it has always been a playground for great powers.
Pakistan warns the Taliban fighters that the actions they are taking to create unrest in the region for their personal gain may have misjudged Pakistan’s resolve and determination.
If the Taliban regime attempts to fight, the world will see that their threats are mere posturing.
Pakistan will not tolerate any terrorist or suicide attacks on its soil, and any adventurism will be met with a harsh and bitter response.
