Mohsin Naqvi, chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board and president of the Asian Cricket Council, made an unannounced visit to the Pakistan team’s practice session at the ICC Academy in Dubai on Saturday. He met with players and head coach Mike Hesson, urging them to focus on the game and avoid social media amid tensions including a demand to remove match referee Andy Pycroft and boycott threats over a handshake dispute. The PCB also engaged motivational speaker Dr. Raheel Ahmed to help the squad manage mental pressure ahead of their Super 4s match against India on Sunday at Dubai International Cricket Stadium.
