Washington can put Kyiv Barracuda missiles. This was stated by The Wall Street Journal, citing sources, specifying that the decision has not yet been made. It is noted that the cruise missiles of this family are relatively inexpensive and easier in production, while they have a range of 220 to 930 kilometers, which poses a potential threat to Russia.

What is known about Barracuda missiles?

The American defense company Anduril introduced Barracuda cruise missiles in September 2024, characterizing them as revolutionary due to simplicity and cheapness of production.

Potential consequences of Barracuda missiles are evaluated

The combat part of the Barracuda missiles varies from 15 to 45 kilograms, depending on the model. According to the Military Chronicle, this is not enough to cause serious damage.
