President of Colombia’s important statement about Gaza
President Petro said:
“We need a powerful army of countries that do not accept genocide. I call on all countries of the world to gather their weapons and forces so that Palestine may be defended.
Diplomacy has already been tried in Gaza, but it has not solved the problem.
We are tired of words — today’s slogan is: ‘Freedom or death.’”
What he says is completely justified, especially regarding Palestine. It seems many countries only make statements about Palestine and do nothing else. There have been many meetings, but the situation in Palestine has only worsened.
The Palestinian problems have not been solved.
Every day many Palestinians are forced to leave their homes and move to other countries. Their homeland and memories are being torn apart; they are even leaving behind the graves of their family members. If this does not concern the whole world, then what will?
Look at the plan by President Trump and Netanyahu: they want to turn Palestine into a modern city — build commercial houses so people can earn money from them. If Palestinians are left homeless, is that a solution?
Israel is expelling Palestinians today; tomorrow it will claim parts of other countries as its own — what answer will the world have then?
As has been seen, even recently there was an attack on Qatar without warning.
The United States is currently very active, but when the time comes for occupation, what will the U.S. do then? At that time, every country will be seeking protection from Israel — by then Israel will have become like a regional power.
